The State Charter School Facilities Incentive Grants Program is a federal grant program designed to assist high-performing charter schools with rent, lease, debt service, and Proposition 39 pro-rata payments or costs related to purchase, acquisition, design, new construction, and renovation.  The Authority is currently administering its third grant of $50 million, bringing the total award to $150 million.

Funding Round Thirteen (2017)

The application for funding Round 13 opened on March 20, 2017. Applications are due April 21, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. Applications shall be submitted via an on-line application which can be found at: https://csfaonline.treasurer.ca.gov/IGA.

All interested parties are encouraged to attend a webinar for the Program, which is scheduled for March 28, 2017 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.  The webinar will provide information regarding Program eligibility, deadlines, instructions on how to access the online application, and supplant/supplement awards, among other topics.
