In 2005, the California Health Facilities Financing Authority (CHFFA) was authorized to administer $25 million to improve healthcare infrastructure to non-profit community based clinics serving low-income healthcare consumers. Approximately 150 non-profit community clinics received grants for infrastructure improvement.
The Community Clinic Grant Program is winding down and currently closed to new applicants.

Community Clinic Grant Program of 2005 awardees must comply with California�s prevailing wage law under Labor Code section 1720, et seq. for public works projects. CHFFA recommends applicants and awardees consult with their legal counsel.
