The federally-funded State Charter School Facilities Incentive Grants Program assists high performing charter schools in offsetting on-going costs as well as acquisition, construction, and renovation. The three-year grant provides funding for rent, lease, Pro 39 pro-rata payments, mortgage, construction costs, or debt service.

Future Funding Rounds

The California School Finance Authority was recently awarded a new grant under the State Charter School Facilities Incentive Grants Program (Program), under the United States Department of Education. The Program's sixteenth round will be funded up to $10 million of the $30 million grant awarded under the Program. The Authority will be updating this page with the Program Application, Program Regulations, and FAQ’s. Please contact the Authority for additional information regarding this grant opportunity, and if you haven’t already signed up for the Authority’s notification list, please sign up for the CSFA Notification list.
